The register of work in progress includes information such as:

- Contact within the company that you are dealing with
- Project name
- Date the project was created
- Financial amount of work done so far
- Amount quoted and current figure
- Comments on the project
- Staff working on that project

From a reporting perspective,
the work in progress pages present a snapshot of what a certain
department (or person) is currently working on. This assists with
allocation of resources, job timings and monitoring milestones.
An accurate picture of your company’s current work in progress
will also allow you to assess your financial situation, showing

with your financial accounting package giving you accurate results
every time.

also be viewed by your client so that they can see the information
relating to their projects. But, their page is customised to omit
certain details such as financials of the job.
Your client can also view a picture of their job, from drafts and
under construction graphics to the final artwork for their approval.
This means clients won’t be chasing you as they can see the
progress of their project online!
